    Walleye are a great eating fish and truly fun and challenging to fish for. The majority of my fishing is on the Columbia River with some fishing being done in the Multnomah Channel which flows on one side of Sauvie's Island near Portland, Oregon. The other side of the island is the Columbia River. The Columbia River is known for big walleye and they predict that the next world record will come from the Columbia River. Walleye have taken over the Columbia since they were introduced in the upper Columbia in the early ’s. Since this time they have spread through the Columbia River system offering great walleye fishing from January.
